A community where everyone can participate and belong
Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP)
Social Outings for Under 65s
Through the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People, we provide well-designed, fun, social outings for people aged under 65 that are connected to the program.
Our outings help participants to stay active and engaged in their community, and to form connections with other younger people. We create safe, inclusive opportunities for participants to build friendships, enjoy new experiences, and gain confidence.
Previous outings offered have included visits to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, Pottery Classes and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.
The outings are generously supported by the Victorian Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
What We Offer
Our friendly and supportive team ensures each outing is enjoyable, accessible, and tailored to participants’ needs.
People aged under 65 (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people) who experience difficulties/barriers to independent living due to disability, chronic illness or other conditions may be eligible for our outings.
