Once you register one of our friendly team will contact you. The aim of this chat is to determine your interests, your skills and your availability to volunteer. Once we have this information we will research and share with you volunteer opportunities that are a great match for you!

Free Online Modules Supporting Volunteers

Volunteering as a Young Person (IND 1.1)

This module introduces volunteering to young people. Learn about the benefits of volunteering, different types of volunteering, and why engaging in volunteering is a valuable choice for young people. This module leads into modules 1.2 Preparing yourself to volunteer and 1.3 Volunteering as a pathway to study and employment.

Preparing to Volunteer (IND 1.2)

This is a practical module! In this module you will work through the process of identifying the skills, interests and experiences that you could bring to a volunteering role and how this will help in choosing the right volunteer opportunity, and when applying for a role.

Using Volunteering as an Employment or Study Pathway

This module introduces the importance of using your volunteering experiences in preparing for future employment or further study! Practical experience gained through volunteering will help develop ‘soft’ skills like teamwork, communication and networking and also provide specific technical ‘on the job’ development which can be essential for future study and work success.
