Wanting support with all things Volunteering?

EV_VOLUNTEERING_PRIMARY_LOGO 01.png

Since 1976 EV then known as Eastern Volunteers had two core purposes, to support: (i) people interested in volunteering to find the right opportunities in their community and (ii) community organisations and groups who needed volunteer workforces. We did this through our Volunteer Resource Centre.

Unfortunately, this service came to a sudden halt in 2020 with the national defunding of Volunteer Resource Centres by the Commonwealth Government. As a result, EV no longer had the funding or capacity to provide support to the volunteering community through a physical Resource Centre. To address this community need, EV created a Virtual Volunteer Resource Service (Virtual-VRS), an online service for people looking to volunteer and for organisations with volunteer workforces.

Virtual Volunteer Resource Service

The EV Virtual-VRS supports volunteers and community organisations through three platforms:

Volunteer Navigation Hub

EV's Volunteer Navigation Hub  - assists people to navigate into volunteering opportunities in their local communities by providing online in person assessment, referral and placement services. Register your interest in volunteering and one of our volunteer support team will connect with you - click the button below.

Communities of Practice

The Volunteering Communities of Practice (CoP) - offers a hybrid model of organisational networking by supporting face-2-face and online volunteering network meetings. Contact us for more information.

Learning & Support Hub

The Learning and Support Hub offers online training and support for volunteers and organisations / community groups through engaging and interactive online modules based on best practice in teaching and learning.
